Social conflicts and political upheavals, environmental catastrophes and natural disasters, human rights violations and terrorism all show that our era of globalization is far from being one solely of prosperity or wealth.

Young people are most at risk, but also the most active in their communities. International Youth Forum Seliger 2013 can help unite active young people from all over the world, regardless of their social status, ethnic background, political views and religion.

The main goal of the Forum is to build an international community of young people based on the principles of peaceful coexistence, the promotion of personal and democratic liberties and recognition of cultural diversity.

To achieve this goal the organizers have set a number of objectives, including:

• empower global youth, by giving them a greater say in the globalizing world

• encourage young people to find solutions to global challenges: poverty, social conflict, environmental degradation

• foster cooperation among young people in social, political and economic life

• give participants real opportunities to put their leadership skills into practice

• help and support young people in team building and fundraising

• examine the main trends and tendencies in global business, science, culture, mass media, NGO communities

• offer young people the chance to meet and interact with highly qualified specialists ready to support them in turning their project ideas into reality

• help them embrace diversity in delivering practical projects

We believe in fostering an active social position among young people worldwide. Putting these objectives into practice will help strengthen social consciousness among young people internationally and also attain the Forum’s main goal.

Who we need: 1,000 young leaders from different backgrounds, students/graduates from universities worldwide, and young professionals who are highly motivated to effect global change (NOTE: age restrictions apply: 18 – 30 years). Experience in social program implementation or politics is required (e.g. managing or founding not-for-profit organizations, being involved in social projects, or student union/local authority experience). We welcome young talented and creative individuals full of new ideas who are ready to work collaboratively for collective, international, benefit.

How to apply

In order to apply for International Youth Forum INTERSELIGER 2013 you should:

• Register your account at http://www.interseliger.com/auth/register/ and confirm your e-mail. You can use your facebook account for authentification.

• Fill in Application Form in your profile and wait for the results of application processing there along with an e-mail confirmation.

• On approval you can submit an application to become an Ambassador, a volunteer or a speaker.

Jadi, dengan kesuksesan yang telah dimiliki oleh ISES 2009 dan ISES 2011 lalu, maka panitia ISES sendiri membuka kesempatan bagi seluruh mahasiswa dunia untuk menginisiasi dalam pertemuan REGIONAL untuk ISES ini sendiri. Regionalnya dibagi berdasarkan benua tempat kita tinggal. Bagi mahasiswa Indonesia yang punya minat besar di energi, kenapa tidak kampusnya bisa diajukan dalam kegiatan ini. Silahkan dicoba.

Bringing Energy to tomorrow's leaders.

Student Energy is excited to announce a new initiative that will bring the innovative format of the International Student Energy Summit to even more of the world’s students and future energy leaders.

Regional Student Energy Summits will occur June 12-13, 2014 simultaneously on 6 continents. The events will each target 100-300 multi-disciplinary post-secondary students from the region.

These unique events will address regional issues while simultaneously giving delegates a deep understanding of the role their region plays in global energy systems and dynamics.

THE BID

Hosting a regional summit is a unique opportunity to highlight your country, city and school to some of the brightest young minds in energy. Institutions from the following 6 regions are invited to apply to host their region’s event:

• North America
• South America
• Africa
• Europe
• Asia
• Australasia

Academic institutions that want to host an event must fully read the bid overview document below and submit a completed template form by April 1, 2013. In addition it is recommended that potential bidders fill out this survey to receive assistance from Student Energy and guidance through the bid process.

Acara dwitahunan yang sebenarnya saya juga baru tahu. Akan tetapi, tidak ada salahnya coba berbagi dan berbicara dengan yang lain tentangnya.

The International Student Energy Summit (ISES) is a global forum that focuses on sustainable resource management and the role that students will play in defining the future of energy development. ISES targets international, multidisciplinary post secondary students in undergraduate and graduate studies interested in energy. The event is occurring in Trondheim, Norway from June 13-15, 2013.

The International Student Energy Summit is empowering the next generation of energy leaders that will support the global transition towards a sustainable energy future. ISES is a three-day event that uses a multidisciplinary framework to educate, inspire and unite students around energy issues. 

OUR GOALS:

• Educate students about the current issues in global energy management.
• Inspire students with the knowledge and courage to challenge the current energy system.

Acara ini tingkat dunia dan hanya dipilih beberapa saja yang lolos seleksinya. Semua GRATIS..TIS..TIS kalau terpilih. 

Berlin and Munich are the hubs of Entrepreneurship in Germany – but in Munich the cooperation of the 4 Universities gives the Entrepreneurship Scene a uniqueness in fostering Students to build their own Startups. The two renowned „Universities of Excellence“ – the LMU Munich and TU Munich collaborate together with the University of Applied Sciences and the UniBw in this unique project to foster entrepreneurial thinking among students.

The continuous effort of the four established and successful Entrepreneurship Centers has made them the leading Entrepreneurship Centers in Germany. The joint effort for the Global Entrepreneurship Summer School therefore will continuously foster Entrepreneurship in Germany and around the Globe.

Who can apply?

You have to be enrolled in any university at any time during 2013 and you have to be between 18 – 27 years old. Example: If you are enrolled only until February 2013 you can apply even if you won’t be enrolled in September 2013.”Enrolled” applies in our definition also to MBA or PhD students.

Application process

This year we will accept 35 outstanding students from around the world who will get an invitation to Munich. In addition we will accept 15 virtual participants. All applications will go through a very strict, but fair selection process. The deadline for Early Bird applications will be April 30, 2013. The regular deadline will be May 31, 2013 (GMT -12). We will inform everybody at the latest during the last week of June about their application status.

Accommodation

Participants won’t have to pay for their accommodation. We will provide accommodation from Sep 17 until Sep 27 either in the guesthouse of the LMU or at other places such as appartments of other participants from Munich.

Global Scholarships

International students who are invited to Munich will automatically receive a travel scholarship. The Global Entrepreneurship Summer School will contribute 50% of your total travel costs (mostly flight tickets) up to a cap of € 500,-. Food & travel in Munich

We will provide you for free some exclusive dinners as well as many snacks and coffee during the whole week. In addition we will cover your travel expenses for the public transport in Munich throughout the whole week.

Tuition

Only if you are a student from Germany or we will charge atutuion fee of € 79,- for early bird applicants and € 119,- for regular applicants per selected participant. If you can provide accommodation to an international participant you won’t have to pay a tuition fee – no matter when you apply.
